Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 22, 2026
Sanctuary Signal by Alethos, LLC provides church safety communication tooling. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how SMS consent and opt-out are handled.
Information We Collect
We may collect organization and user contact details, role and roster details, message metadata, message content, and operational logs needed to deliver the service and support administration.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate dispatching, send requested alerts, manage accounts, support incident workflows, maintain security, and improve reliability.
SMS Consent, Message Frequency, and Rates
SMS enrollment requires user action (for example, texting JOIN/START and an approval process by you, our customer). Message frequency varies by operational need. End user message and data rates may apply based on each carrier plan.
Opt-Out and Help
Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Users can request support by replying HELP. Opt-out commands are honored as soon as technically possible.
Example Onboarding / Compliance Text
Current onboarding and compliance language includes patterns such as: "Welcome to [product]. Please reply with your name to subscribe." and "Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help."
New users requesting to join your Sanctuary Signal TEXT application will then need to be approved by the product owner (you) or designated shift Supervisor roles.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the platform, and when required by law.
SMS opt-in and consent records are not sold and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Retention and Security
We retain data for operational, legal, and audit purposes and use administrative and technical safeguards to protect data. Customers may choose message data and metadata retention settings up to one year, or shorter.
Cookies and Local Storage
Our website may use functional browser storage (including cookies or local storage) to remember basic viewing preferences, such as whether a first-visit introduction was already shown and whether quick/full page mode was selected. These settings improve usability and are not used for advertising profiling.
Visitors can reset this experience at any time using the Replay Intro control on the website footer.
